Vivo presents #NotSoFilmy campaign for aspiring musicians
In a world where Bollywood music has been ruling the roost , there is a hunger for the kind of music you will find yourself listening to when you’re in need for originality, inspiration and something new. It is the kind of music which is composed to ignite freshness in your mind and soul.
Vivo presents the #NotSoFilmy campaign with the objective of giving opportunities to musicians who wish to showcase fresh music which is beyond the stereotypical Filmy music.
Aspiring musicians can choose to either listen to the original compositions by Indian music enthusiasts or contribute by submitting theirs.
 
Although YouTube has done quite a lot for bringing skills from bathrooms and college farewell parties right to the stage, now talented artists can make their own channels and be noticed, appreciated and encouraged by music lovers.
But that isn't enough! 
The kind of fame and love flowing their way may be quite encouraging, but it isn't providing full justice to their talent. With the advent of digital technology , social Media can do so much more and Vivo shall take them through it!
The campaign is called #NotSoFilmy, and its basic intent is to raise the acceptance level that we have for music that's not Bollywood, that's #NotSoFilmy.
 
Musicians can start with recording a 30sec clip of their music, vocal or instrumental (or both put together), and send it to Vivo's official handle along with the hashtag #NotSoFilmy. 
Oh, did we tell you? The final winner will be featured in the vivo album :)
