A notorious music composer Tanishk Bagchi who is recently in the news for his stupendous music composition ‘Barish’ in the movie ‘Half Girlfriend’ states that the Indian music industry is getting more sophisticated. As an energetic, eloquent advocate for the music and musicians of this time, he believes that the industry should also mull over romantic tracks apart from the party numbers. He is in deep love with remix song composing, the romance of the melody and feels that such compositions have the potential to change the trend. Moreover, he adds productions houses think before promoting remix numbers, as they believe that such songs will not get hits.

He has debuted Bollywood Music industry with the lively song ‘Banno Tera Swagger’ from the movie ‘Tanu weds Manu Returns’ composed by him and his good friend Vayu Srivastava. This song is outlined by his voracious appetite for music of every style and era. Since then, he has composed for the diverse lists of hit songs like title track of Badri Nath ki Dulhaniya, and Tamma Tamma song. Since he was getting sangeet songs, item numbers, ‘Bolna’ was like a revelation, and he was actually longing for the song like this. 

Audiences across the globe have been captivated by the incredible musical style of Mirchi Music award winner Tanishk Bagchi. He is all set for his new image as “Remix guy” by composing Ok Janu’s Humma Humma song starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapur, which was celebrated by both the audiences and critics alike. Sung by Badshah, Jubin Nautiyal, Shashaa Tirupati and rearranged by him, this song was recently slammed by original song’s singer Remo Fernandes. For this, Tanishk says, he has no hard feeling for Remo and he is justified in criticizing Humma.

He has composed music for several television shows and accumulated a long list of credits as a composer, remixer and mash-up chap. He adores the diversity about bollywood music industry, “Variety is what turns movie music more fascinating. This A R Rahman Fan is looking forward to bag a complete movie as a music composer. “I don’t want just a song in a movie, I am longing for the complete project. I likewise desire to work on the background score of a movie,” narrated Bagchi. He has been nominated for several awards and worked with some of the leading names in the music industry.
