Relive Your Dreams: Be A Part Of The Mayhem Festival

Inaugurated in 2008, Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival has become an annual event for metal fans around the world. This is a touring festival that is organized during summers (mostly from June to August), traveling across the United States, and in sometimes, in some parts of Canada as well.

One of the most prominent festivals in the world of heavy metal, Mayhem Festival has three stages, namely,  the Main Stage, the Jägermeister Stage, and the third stage that has gone through sponsorship changes. During the festival, bands organize meet-n-greet sessions with their fans, signing autographs and clicking pictures.

This year's edition, we saw Slayer headlining the Main stage while King Diamond, Hellyeah and The Devil Wears Prada supported the headliners. Whitechapel, Thy Art Is Murder, Jungle Rot, Sister Sin, Sworn In, Shattered Sun, Feed Her To The Sharks, Code Orange and Kissing Candice took over the Victory Records Stage in the festival. Slayer and King Diamond on the same stage went on to become be the highlight of this summer festival, making it the most devilish time in the history of Mayhem.

The tour began on 26th June and reached its end on 2nd August 2015 while performing in various cities on its tour.

Unfortunately, after eight years, the Mayhem is over. Mayhem Fest started as an alternative to Ozzfest and ultimately shoved the festival out of business. But now, it looks as if it suffers the same fate. This leaves a pretty large vacancy in the summer touring market for metal. Will the promoters begin a new branded tour in its place or will another sponsor come along to take charge for a new festival? I guess we have to wait and see.
