5. Pentaport Rock Festival (Incheon, South Korea)

This three-day festival is enough to satiate the craving of head-banging for rock followers. Held at Penta Park, Pentaport Rock Festival is the biggest live music event that incorporates local as well overseas artists in the line-up,  creating an energetic international music festival for everyone to enjoy.

4. Reading Festival (Reading, United Kingdom)

The infamous Reading Festival is touted as one of the best music festival in the region of U.K. With the most revered artists from across the globe, namely, Mumford & Sons, Metallica, Arctic Monkeys, Eminem, Green Day, Foo Fighters and many more, lined up across the August Bank Holiday Weekend, it is a treat for discerning music lovers everywhere.

One of the memorable incidents of the festival took place in the year 1992 when Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain showed up in a wheelchair parodying speculations about his mental health.

3. Coachella (Indio, U.S.A.)

Cometh the summer, cometh the Coachella. What started as a small electronic music festival in the desert has transformed into a cultural yardstick for the festival season. Every year thousands of dedicated electronic music fan ride from all corners of the world to feast on their definitive music desire. With 15 marvellous stages of magic, with past decorations ranging from active volcanoes to explosive butterflies, this has become Mecca for every EDM lover.

The 2016 lineup has yet to be revealed, but 2015 featured the likes of Alesso, Avicii, Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Sven Väth, Hardwell and more.
